Title: We are looking for Staff Post by: Molly on July 19, 2007, 09:22:52 pm Previous Moderator experience preferred but none required. I am willing to have you trained with the necessary skills. Most important for a moderator is a sense of fairness, willingness to listen, see all sides, follow the rules of the site and enforce them no matter whom has broken one. Even if it turns out to be one of your best friends. :blink: It is not mandatory that you be a pagan to qualify or necessarily understand the concepts, just keeping the peace and enforcing the rules is all I require. I want someone who is a bit personable and is willing to get to know those on the site also as it grows, you are also welcome to enjoy the site too. :) So if/when infractions or modifications of posts have to be done the member is not left feeling a bit put out as to why. So the ability to explain things well and patience is a must too. A heavy hand is not needed, just firm if there is ever an all out cat fight and somebody is just not grasping the rules ...hopefully that never happens :blink: but alas with a forum especially with this topic it is bound to at some point in time.
